Overview

Utterli provides an open application programming interface (API) for developers to build new and interesting applications and widgets on the Utterli platform. Many of the capabilities of the Utterli platform are accessible from the Utterli API.

Getting Started

Getting started is straightforward. Check out the documentation and look at the samples included in the API kits. You'll need an application key to include in every request. It's easy to get one using the link below.

The Utterli API uses a common request - response XML (or JSON) based model. Your program formats an XML (or JSON) request and sends it to our servers and then waits for an XML (or JSON) response. It then parses the response to extract requested information.
