spiffy said: They are making an Avengers movie- Iron Man will be in the Avengers movie (which isn't actually slated until 2010). Tony Stark (RDJr) has a cameo in the Hulk movie as well. They're really working hard to make this this new set of Marvel/Avengers characters cross seeded in each other's movies to establish the expanded universe for viewers. There are more movies in the pipeline that will all plant seeds for the eventual release of the Avengers movie. And yes, there is an Iron Man 2.
